In the ‘Tornado’ battalion, men were tortured with tasers and raped

In the basement of the school №32 in the city of Pryvillia fighters of the ‘Tornado’ battalion ‘Mojahed’ and ‘Bizon’ tortured an unknown man with a stun gun. The eyewitness revealed this during the closed court sessions on August 2, 2016.

A field telephone generator was an instrument of torture for the ‘Tornado’ fighters.

‘There was a generator in it, they were rotating the handle and touched various parts of the body with the frayed part of the power cord. The scrotum, feet, the back, different body parts’

—recalls the survivor.

Once the Taser run out of battery, Ruslan Onyshchenko, the battalion commander of ‘Tornado’ ordered his subordinates to rape S. Yurchenko.

‘Ruslan Onyshchenko ordered insert penis in Yurchenko’s mouth and anus. He ordered me to insert ... I was at the head. ‘Palchyk’ was on the other side’

—says the accused Shevchenko.

He said he had to obey under threat of death.

"We stood up and Ruslan Onyshchenko told us to rape him. I said ‘Ruslan, I’m not going to do that’. ‘Mojahed’ pointed a rifle at me and said ‘We’ll shoot you, now’. I took this threat seriously and did as Ruslan Onishchenko had ordered’

—says the ‘Tornado’ fighter.
