A fighter of the battalion "Tornado" raped and tortured a woman from Luhansk

A fighter of special purpose battalion “Tornado” is accused in rape and torture of a woman from Luhansk region. For these crimes the former militiaman was sentenced to six years in prison, reports ‘Korrespondent’.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Luhansk region reported that "Tornado" volunteer had tortured his victim first, and then had raped her threatening with a grenade. The event took place in June 2015 in Novopskovsky district of Luhansk region.

The former militiaman was sentenced to 6 years in prison due to several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular ‘rape, including unnatural intercourse’ and ‘violent unnatural satisfaction of sexual desire with physical abuse’.
